Hasebe (長谷部) is a second year power forward who plays for Kitasumi High. As of yet his last name has not been revealed in the series. Everyone on the team calls him 'HASSE.'

Hasebe is about 178 cm tall. He has medium length messy brown hair with corresponding eyes. His jersey number is 10 and he wears 'ASICS Gel Double II' sneakers.

Hasebe is a sub-member of Kitasumi High, who participated in the practice match between Kitasumi High and Kuzuryū High. He is a proficient scorer and a decent defender who can easily box out his opponents. After the graduation of his teams' Captain 'Nagase,' Hasebe became one of the promising candidates on his basketball team to acquire the Power Forward or Center position.
