Tachibana is one of the starters on his team and participated in the practice match between Kitasumi High and Kuzuryū High. After Tarou and Katori, Tachibana is the third most vital player on his team. He is an efficient scorer, a team player with a strong fighting spirit, one who does not hesitate when he finds an opportunity to score.
