Volume Summary[]
In the second round of the Inter-High District Qualifiers, Kuzuryū High faces Rai-Kawasaki, a team they had played against before in a practice match. However, the members of Rai-Kawasaki were different from those in the practice game; most of them were first-years, except for Makino, the number 15 player. Kuzuryū High dominantly leads the match; Sora, on the other hand, struggles to keep up against Makino's defense. It was Kurumatani who motivated Makino to grow. As the game reaches its climax, how well will Makino’s defensive skills fair in competition to his inspired adversary?
